Safety is of the utmost importance to our racers. Whether you're a first-timer, a casual runner or an elite runner, everyone must take this information very seriously when running on race day.
Here is important information you should know for the Get Lucky 7K.
- There will be First Aid Responders available to runners who need medical assistance.
- The Get Lucky follows USATF rules; including the acceptance of iPods and other headsets during competition.
- For the safety of yourself and the other participants, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, and unauthorized bicycles are prohibited from the course.
- If you do not complete each prescribed segment of the race, do not cross the finish line. Your timing chip is disposable. You do not need to return it.
- The race director, officials, coordinators and volunteers ask all participants to be as kind and respectful as possible. Enormous effort has gone into assuring that each and every competitor has a safe, fun race. Abusive language and unsportsmanlike behavior can result in disqualification.
