Online Registration for the Minneapolis 5K and 5K-9 is Now Closed, But you can register at our Packet Pickup on June 5th or on Race Morning on June 6th!  Charitable slots are also available for the Half Marathon and Full Marathon. You can register for these as well at Packet Pickup.

Course Information

• Minneapolis Marathon Course Map

• Here is the link to the Course on MapMyRun. The Turn around for the Half after mile 9 at W. River Parkway and East 33rd St.
• The Minneapolis Marathon is a USAT Certified Course and Boston Qualifier
• Race Starts at The Depot in Minneapolis
• Chip Timing
• 20 Water Stops
• 20 Rest Stops
• 6 Medical Aid Stops
• 2 Gel Stops
• Course will be open for  6 hours

Start Times:

• Marathon and Half Marathon 7:00 a.m.
• 5K start: 8:30 a.m.  *note: time change

Walkers are welcome and can register for the 5K or Half Marathon events.
Time limit on the half marathon is 4 hours, time limit on the 5K is 1 hour.

Minimum Age Requirements
Marathon:16 years old
Half Marathon: 12 years old

Team Ortho Race Change Policy (effective immediately)

At Team Ortho Foundation we allow you to change or defer your race entries. We understand that things happen we would rather you defer or change your entry than not race at all. Please review the following policy for additional information and thank you for running with Team Ortho!"

48-Hour Change Policy: You have 48 hours to make any desired changes to your race entry without penalty.  Go to Contact Us and use the drop down menu to select registration. This will direct your email to the correct Team Ortho employee.

More than 48 hours after your registration: 

• To change your race entry to another person - $25.00
• To defer your race entry to the following year - $10.00 + 5 hours of volunteering
• To upgrade or downgrade your race - $15.00 + difference in race price (if upgrading)
