Team Ortho Foundation Donates at the Minneapolis Duathlon |
|
|
The Minneapolis Duathlon was a huge success on August 30th, 2009. We became the largest duathlon in the country that day. Because of your support we were able to donate money to orthopaedic research.
We donated $5,000 to Shriner's Hospital for Children in Minneapolis. The hospital is strictly an orthopaedic hospital; helping children with missing limbs, prosthetics and more. The money will help Shriner's keep some of its activities going for children who stay there.
Plus, we also donated $5,000 to the Center for Bone and Joint Research which is
located at Hennepin County Medical Center. This money will go toward orthopaedic research.
Thank you to all of the runners for participating in our races so we can make these donations possible.
